Booking and Registration Policy
When registering an activity through Yukon Guided Adventures can be done by calling us directly at 1-867-634-2817. We will send a confirmation email once we have received the necessary forms and payment to confirm your stay with us.
Guests registering for activities through Yukon Guided Adventures need to fill out a registration form, health questionnaire and sign a liability waiver prior to confirmation. These documents will be sent out upon booking. Registration will only be complete once we have received these documents and sent out an official booking confirmation.While we always try our best to accommodate guests who request guided activities upon arrival, we strongly encourage booking guided activities with us in advance, especially during our busy season (Summer and Winter) to guarantee a spot.
Security Deposit and Cancellation Policy
Guided activities with Yukon Guided Adventures
We require a 50% non refundable security deposit to confirm any 1 day guided activities through Yukon Guided Adventures at the time of booking. Multi day expeditions or activities requiring multiple guides will require a 65% non refundable security deposit at the time of booking. Remaining amounts will be required 2 weeks prior to the date of the intended trip.At Yukon Guided Adventures our number one priority is the safety of our guests. Unfortunately, sometimes we have to cancel or change the itinerary on trips to accommodate this priority. This may be due to adverse weather conditions such as lightning storms or excessive rain which may make creek crossings unsafe; trail closures, aggressive animals in the area or any situation in which our guides feel it is in the best interest of safety. We recommend guests stay an additional day after booked trips to accommodate for possible adverse conditions.. In the unlikely event that we have to cancel a trip, we will refund 100% of the total deposit.
We request that all guests to purchase additional travel insurance prior to arrival. Insurance should include cancellation and personal liability. Non-Yukon residents and international guests should also have additional medical insurance to cover additional expenses such as a medical evacuation that may incur during a medical emergency
Gear and Rentals
All gear rentals and use of our gear during expeditions will be subject to a refundable deposit included when paying for rental. The price of the rentals and deposits vary and will be listed at the lodge or upon request online. This refundable deposit must be paid prior to departing for a trip and will be given back once rental is returned. While we do expect some wear with usage, any unreasonable damage to gear from improper storage or irresponsible use will result in a forfeiture of the rental deposit.
